Currently, one of the important issues is ensuring the population with high-quality and safe pharmaceuticals that meet global standards. Regulating pharmacy operations and enhancing the knowledge and skills of pharmacists is one of the pertinent topics on the agenda.

Last week, a meeting was organized on the topic "Implementation of GPP standard in pharmacies: production issues and their solutions" with the participation of directors from around fifty pharmacy institutions in Navoi region, as well as from Yangibazar and 10th microdistricts of Navoi city. The meeting discussed the procedure and importance of obtaining GPP certification, and a dialogue took place on issues concerning specialists.

At the end of the discussion, the participants acknowledged that aligning their pharmacy's operations with global standards will strengthen the pharmacy's competitiveness and expand its capabilities to meet high customer demand.
