A memorandum of understanding was signed between USAID and the agency in 2019 on cooperation in the implementation of the PQM Plus – “improving the quality of Medicines” Program. In order to achieve the results of this memorandum, it was agreed to conduct joint work in a number of areas, and within the framework of this cooperation, USAID representatives met with employees of a number of departments of the agency.

In particular, on September 19, at a meeting with representatives of the” Center for necessary operations " DUK, the issue of standard operating processes, the principles of full development, implementation of the quality management system, maintenance were discussed.

On September 20, an interview was held with employees of the licensing and control department, as well as GMP inspectors on the issues of the situation in the existing system, application and licensing processes, the detection of quality defects and the withdrawal of a license, and the results of the latest inspections conducted by inspectors were analyzed.

On September 21, a training course dedicated to attestation and validation issues was held by coach Jiri Holi.

On the last day of meetings, that is, on September 22, the system of cooperation of Farminspection with representatives of pharmaceutical inspection PIC/S indicators (legislation in this regard, inspection processes, inspectors, their training, access to laboratories, quality defects) was discussed.

On the same day, the management of the agency also met with USAID representatives to negotiate issues and prospects for cooperation that need to be resolved.
